Counselling in the comfort of your own home

I have always had an interest in how people work, what science can tell us about this and using this knowledge to help people. This is driven by my core values of authenticity, fairness and curiosity. I am utterly convinced that counselling should work for the client, so my counselling style is person-centred and integrative, meaning I combine a bunch of different theories so I can provide a completely tailored counselling service to you and your very specific needs.

I have a special interest in working with those that are Autistic/ADHD, including couples where only one partner is neurodivergent, and also people who have experienced trauma. I do also work with other kinds of people on a wide variety of issues.

For more information about me, please see my blog, where I write about mental health and other things we come up against in life.

I also run NeuroDiversity Affirming Training & Supervision through which I offer psychoeducational groups for Autistic people and their partners, as well as training and supervision for professionals.

 My approach

What do I do a as a counsellor vs what you do as a client

Client centred - I respect that you are the expert on you

Strength based - I want to work with your own unique strengths to help you

Evidence based - using counselling theories innovatively to tailor a solution specific to you

Trauma Informed & Neurodiversity Affirming - I will respect your experiences and neurodivergences

Open, honest and vulnerable -to quote Brene Brown “vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change”
